The Flamecrest is handcrafted from cocobolo, a wood traditionally prized for its tonal qualities that make it a first choice in instrument making. This pen displays the various sunset tones that the wood can exhibit, ranging from a rich brown to a glowing yellow. The flamecrest is finished to a high polish, making its colors glow, especially in natural light.
All wooden Caridina fountain pens are lined with high quality ebonite to provide durability, texture, and comfort, ensuring that your fountain pen stays sealed, elegant, and smooth.
Every pen comes with a Jowo number 6 nib from Franklin Christoph in your choice of fine, medium, or broad. They are also fitted with a Franklin Christoph standard international converter.
Built special for each and every pen, Caridina pens come in a handmade wooden box on a soft bed of wood shavings. The Flamecrest’s box is made from cherry and is fitted with a cocobolo knob to perfectly complement the pen.
